Extended bookings: give Amsterdam, and your companion, a whole day

An hour in Amsterdam is enough to meet someone. A whole day is enough to see the city properly: morning light on the Herengracht, a museum after lunch, a boat under the bridges as the lamps come on, then dinner and a late walk home. Extended bookings are for people who want that kind of time, with a companion who enjoys it as much as they do.

They range from a long afternoon to a full day or several days during a stay. Because every plan is different, extended bookings are on request, with the schedule and the rate confirmed on WhatsApp before you begin. Shorter visits start from €180 per hour.

02 Extended bookings

What an extended booking can cover

Think of it as company for the parts of your trip you would otherwise do alone. A slow afternoon in the Rijksmuseum or the Stedelijk. A bike ride out along the Amstel. Shopping in the Nine Streets with someone who has opinions. A canal cruise, a long lunch, a concert in the evening. Your companion joins you for all of it, in whatever order you like, and the booking adapts to the day rather than the other way round.

Before you book

  • Half day: a museum, lunch and a walk through the canal ring.
  • Full day: sightseeing, dinner and an evening out.
  • Several days: company across a longer stay, planned in advance.

03 Extended bookings

A day planned the Amsterdam way

Locals plan loosely and stay flexible, and that approach suits extended bookings too. Fix a couple of anchors, say a timed museum entry or a table for eight o'clock, and keep everything else loose. Amsterdam rewards wandering: the market in De Pijp, the hidden courtyards of the Jordaan, a ferry over the IJ just for the view. Build in breaks, because a full day on foot is more tiring than it sounds, and let your companion suggest a café or a quiet corner when the pace needs to drop.

04 Extended bookings

One full day, sketched by a local

Begin with coffee in the Jordaan while the canals are still quiet. Walk down to the Museumplein for the Gallery of Honour in the Rijksmuseum, then break for lunch in De Pijp. Spend the afternoon in the palm house of the Hortus Botanicus, or cross the IJ for the view over the rooftops from the lookout tower in Noord. After a pause at your hotel, dinner and a concert, or a canal boat gliding under lit bridges, close the day. It is a route any Amsterdammer would recognise, and your companion can reshape it around what you enjoy most.

05 Extended bookings

Companions for long, easy days

Long bookings suit companions with curiosity and stamina. Patricia is gentle and attentive, paints in watercolour, loves film noir and is an ideal companion for an afternoon among the city's bookshops. Margo is refined and calm, and her love of contemporary art, piano and gardening makes a museum afternoon genuinely interesting.

Lucy is dreamy and artistic, a runner along the Amstel with a serious espresso habit, happiest exploring the city on foot. Thea is cheerful and down to earth, loves cycling and hiking, and is perfect for a day that heads out of the centre into the parks. Patricia and Thea both belong among our companions aged 26 to 29.

Pace, rest and privacy

An extended booking is not a marathon. Plan time back at your hotel between the afternoon and the evening, so you both have a chance to change and recharge. Your companion keeps the same discretion over a long day as over a single hour: she follows your lead in public, respects your schedule and never shares anything about your time together. For stays across several days, the schedule is agreed in advance, including the hours she keeps for herself.

07 Extended bookings

Booking a longer arrangement

Start with a message on WhatsApp, or Telegram if you prefer, outlining the dates, the rough plan and the companion you would like. We confirm availability and the full arrangement in writing. The earlier you ask, the wider the choice, especially for weekends and stays of several days. If a day goes so well that you want to add an overnight, just ask; it is confirmed separately before it begins. The booking page explains each step.

08 Questions

Extended bookings, answered

01What counts as an extended booking?

Anything longer than a few hours, from a long afternoon to several days. Each one is quoted on request and confirmed on WhatsApp.

02Can the plan change during the day?

Yes, within reason. If you want to extend, shorten or rearrange, message us and we confirm the new plan with your companion first.

03Who pays for museum tickets and meals?

You do, just as you would for any guest you invite out for the day. Your companion's time is quoted separately.

04Can I book the same companion for several days?

Often, if you ask early. Longer stays depend on her schedule and are confirmed in writing on WhatsApp before you arrive.
